Habitat for Humanity International
Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller in a small Georgian town called Americus. HFHI’s work is accomplished by affiliates like Great Falls Habitat for Humanity that work in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Habitat affiliates are independent, nonprofit organizations that are organized by local citizens and operate with local boards and local volunteers to further Habitat’s mission. Each Habitat affiliate coordinates all aspects of Habitat home building in its local area.
