Aging in Place

Aging in Place is a program designed to support seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities by providing essential home modifications, repairs, and accessibility improvements that enhance safety, comfort, and long‑term independence. Recognizing the strong connection between housing stability and overall health, Great Falls Habitat for Humanity collaborates with partner organizations to deliver products and services that promote safe, livable environments. Through this program, we are committed to ensuring individuals can maintain their independence, improve their quality of life and continue to thrive within the comfort of their own homes and communities.

WHAT WE DO

Great Falls Habitat for Humanity’s scope of work is to provide construction expertise, project coordination, and the volunteer/contractor labor necessary to complete these improvements efficiently and to a high standard. We collaborate closely with partner organizations, healthcare providers, and social service agencies to ensure that each project aligns with the homeowner’s functional needs and supports their ability to remain independent in their home. While Habitat manages the repair and modification process, partner organizations may contribute through referrals, funding support, case management, or supplemental services that address non‑construction needs. Together, these coordinated efforts ensure that homeowners receive comprehensive support that promotes safety, dignity, and improved quality of life.
